Since
We were formed to offer solutions that serve the public interest
The SPANISH ENVIRONMENTAL RISKS POOL is an Economic Interest Partnership set up in 1994 to oversee a coinsurance agreement for jointly underwriting environmental risks.
Environmental risk insurance undoubtedly serves the public interest, benefiting both individual and public entities.
A challenge set by legislation
The Environmental Liability Act and developing regulations
The Environmental Liability Act (Act 26/2007), which transposes the European Directive on Environmental Liability into Spanish legislation, introduces a new type of administrative liability that is both objective and unlimited in scope, offering new coverage to address emerging needs.
About us
At the SPANISH ENVIRONMENTAL RISKS POOL, we fully understand that our mission is to develop products supporting companies susceptible to environmental risks.
That is why we centralise the management of all administrative actions, ensuring full control over the entire process.
Indeed, it is only by acting together when necessary that we can enhance our collective capabilities.

The circular economy: a new way of living?
The term circular economy is becoming increasingly popular; it is now widespread across all media and, as a result, among politicians, who often prioritise sending opportunistic messages over devising and implementing plans.
